Terms & Conditions

The terms that govern quotes, orders, artwork approval, production tolerances and delivery for custom packaging from BoxAura Packaging.

Last updated: 26 July 2026

1. About these terms

These terms govern all quotes, orders and sales made through this website, operated by SSH Valore Group Ltd, trading as BoxAura Packaging ("we", "us", "our"), registered at [PLACEHOLDER: Registered Business Address]. By requesting a quote or placing an order you agree to these terms. Because everything we make is custom-manufactured to your specification, several terms differ from ordinary online shopping — please read them carefully.

2. Quotes & pricing

All products are quoted individually based on your dimensions, materials, print and quantities. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued; after that, material and shipping costs may require re-quoting. A quote becomes a binding order only when you confirm it in writing and any agreed deposit or payment is received.

3. Artwork & proof approval

Before production we send you a digital proof (and, where agreed, a physical sample) for approval. Production begins only after your written proof approval. Once you approve a proof, you accept responsibility for its contents — including spelling, layout, dimensions, colors and dieline placement. Errors discovered after approval that were visible on the approved proof are not grounds for a free reprint.

You warrant that you own or are licensed to use all artwork, logos and content you supply, and you indemnify us against third-party claims arising from printing it. We may decline artwork that is unlawful or infringing.

4. Color & material variation

Printed colors can vary from what you see on screen — monitors display RGB while production printing uses CMYK. Minor color variation between the digital proof, printed sample and production run, and between production batches, is an inherent characteristic of commercial printing and is not a defect. If exact color matching is critical, request a printed sample or specify Pantone matching at quote stage (additional cost may apply).

5. Quantity tolerance (overs & unders)

In line with industry practice for custom print manufacturing, delivered quantities may vary by up to ±5% of the ordered quantity. If your application requires an exact minimum count, tell us at quote stage so we can plan the run accordingly.

6. Production & turnaround

Quoted turnaround times are estimates in business days and start after proof approval and receipt of agreed payment, not from the date of first inquiry. Turnaround covers production; shipping transit time is additional (see our Shipping & Delivery Policy). We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, force majeure, or delays in receiving your artwork or approvals.

7. Cancellations & changes

You may cancel or change an order free of charge any time before proof approval. After production begins, cancellation is only possible for the unstarted portion of the work, and costs already incurred (materials, plates, dies, setup, completed units) will be charged. Orders cannot be cancelled once printed.

Note for UK consumers: because our products are made to your specification, the usual 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply to bespoke goods. This does not affect your statutory rights in respect of faulty goods.

8. Returns & defects

Custom-made products cannot be returned or refunded for reasons unrelated to quality (wrong purchase decision, change of mind, ordering errors on an approved proof). If your order arrives defective, damaged or materially different from the approved proof, our Returns & Refunds Policy applies — report it within 7 days of delivery with photos and we will make it right with a reprint, replacement or refund as appropriate.

9. Samples

Sample availability, cost and delivery are confirmed per request. Where a sample fee applies, we will tell you before dispatch.

10. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to artwork you supply. Dielines, structural designs and templates we create remain our property unless agreed otherwise in writing. We may photograph finished (non-confidential) work for our portfolio — tell us in writing if you'd prefer we don't.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (lost profits, lost sales, brand impact). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [PLACEHOLDER: Governing Law / Jurisdiction, e.g. England and Wales], and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

Frequently asked questions

When does production actually start?

After two things: your written approval of the digital proof, and receipt of the agreed payment. Quoted turnaround times count from that point, in business days.

What is the ±5% quantity tolerance?

Commercial print runs can deliver slightly more or fewer units than ordered — up to 5% either way is standard industry practice. If you need a guaranteed exact minimum, tell us at quote stage and we'll plan the run for it.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes — free of charge any time before you approve the proof. After production starts, we can only cancel the unstarted portion and must charge costs already incurred. Printed orders can't be cancelled.

Will the printed color match my screen exactly?

Screens show RGB; presses print CMYK — so minor variation is normal and isn't a defect. If color accuracy is critical, request a printed sample or Pantone matching when you get your quote.
